Complaint: Long time favorite waitress of many regular customers, Tabitha J has been unfairly terminated from her job of over 10 years at Waffle House in Bremen, GA. Management there has falsely accused her of theft and suspicion of theft. As their reasoning,they say that because she makes mistakes on tickets from time to time, that she is stealing. Of course these are not the real reasons. The real reasons are, bullying by management, favoritism toward their relatives that they have been staffing the restaurant with for some time now, now even one of their own relatives couldn’t take the crap from management at this store and quit. Age discrimination is another factor, since Tabitha has been with the company for many years and they prefer younger individuals and or relatives. If you will notice, for the most part, the management prefers to hire younger individuals, but makes exceptions if the older individual is related to management. Not only is the practice unethical, it is also (illegal). Some of those same relatives in question, can be caught red handed on surveillance camera, stealing other employees tips (multiple times), but still not be terminated for those actions.Normal employee don’t get this same protection though. if they only “suspected”” of theft
