informing me that my vehicle warranty has rub out

My Complaint: Received a letter that my 2012 GMC Terrain’s warranty had run out and wanted me to purchase an extended warranty.. I called the dealership and was told it was a scam. There is not any address on the letter just a phone number to call. Also an i.d. # 055b016323

My Demand: Please alert people about this scam.
