UnitedLayer LLC San Francisco California

Complaint: Our company was with UnitedLayer for the past seven years where we were collocated in their San Francisco location and Los Angeles colocation. Abhijit Phanse (www.unitedlayer.com/management) became the new CEO of UnitedLayer in 2010 after the company was sold to his network of investors aka Accelon Capital (www.acceloncapital.com/). Since he has been with UnitedLayer the companyu2019s focus has been changed from pure colocation and managed servers to UnitedLayer Hybrid Hosting, UnitedLayer managed cloud, United Hybrid Cloud (www.unitedlayer.com/united-hybrid-cloud) and UnitedLayer managed Hybrid Hosting. Their one and only anchor tenant is their pride and joy featured on their home page as the City and County of San Franciso, sfgov.org/. So if they collocate with them, it makes them the big shot they are until the City of San Franciscou2019s contract runs out in a couple of years of course with all the outages they incur collocating with UnitedLayer LLC. During this phase of change we were contacted by Mr. Abhijit Phanse to introduce as the new CEO and he offered to meet with us. During our meetings he kept trying to lease us more space and push us more toward their never working patent pending UnitedLayer Hybrid Hosting, UnitedLayer managed cloud, United Hybrid Cloud (www.unitedlayer.com/united-hybrid-cloud) and UnitedLayer managed Hybrid Hosting. UnitedCloud (Public Cloud) United Private Cloud United Hybrid Cloud Managed Services VMware vCloud We chatted with our then sales rep that has been with UL for many years Tom about growth several times. Although he went to bat for us every time, he came back with other upsells as he tried to increase our monthly. After he quit UL earlier this year, we found out that Mr. Abhijit Phanse forces his sales reps to bring in customers by any means possible and then increase their prices every other month. This was the biggest reason our rep left as the new found cheapo Indian CEO interfered with every one of our request. Our company decided to terminate our lease and move to their next door neighbor in the 200 Paul building, Telx who has been treating us as a host should in San Franciso as we had to close our Los Angeles data center operation due to lack of support. Telx is a much bigger company than UL would ever try to be and their company is ran by professionals. If you like to meet UnitedLayeru2019s joke of CEO please see videos below. Unfortunately there is no caption to understand what says! www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPUQwj4xuWI www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUs9ELOiFk8 UL only has the 2 locations of San Francisco and Los Angeles where the rest of DCs they mention are less than a cabinet point of presences unlike the many locations Telx offers which they own and operate. We would highly suggest staying far away from Unitedlayeru2019s shady business practices until they get bought out again by like Telx or DRT and not some investment firm and joke of management who has been trying to offer cloud services through 3rd party company, Total Product Marketing www.totalproductmarketing.com.
