Complaint: I ordered meat from Wellness Meats. A full cup of lard came out of two burgers that had been reduced to 50% of its size. The taste was disgusting. So, I got another package and tried some ground beef and had the same experience. Now, I looked at the package and realized that they never listed the part of the cow where the ground beef came from. And this is very unusual. Further research led me to believe this large corporation have protected itself legally to avoid consequences of their behavior. Some of the characteristics of organic meat: flavor (your childhood meat flavor, the one you had forgotten); never an after taste; much less excessive fat. Another tale of organic meat is the fact that the fat does not cling to every small (intercellular is the correct name) piece, and DOES NOT create little bids of white fat, which can be a sign of a much disturbing mechanical engineering process. When coming from a highly contaminated animal (by hormones and inhumane practices) those ground particles not only have the intercellular bids of what look like lard, no matter what you do to the meat (rinse it off, steam it, refry it) you canu2019t get rid of it. When ground beef is poured onto a pan, whether organic ground beef or not, it has lumps that one can remove by smacking it with a fork and still have some lumps. Meat that has been tampered with FILLERS wonu2019t cook well in the center even though the outside is already at a burning point. This is what happened to U.S Wellness Meat, the center of the meet is still pink when the outside is already at a burning point, which indicates that the ground beef has fillers. The taste was disgusting, and anyone that lived outside of the US, not so much so now, but a few years back, when you could not find easily packed food for your pets, was forced to buy what the butchers call meat for pets. I believe this is what Wellness Meat is selling: meat usually sold for cats and dogs. I was not able to ascertain their connection to the pet food industry because U.S. Wellness Meat is a name that I believe was intentional chosen, mainly based on adjectives and other than their own advertisement and paid bloggers and false witnesses, you wonu2019t be able to find much. Still, the name brings some results, including a possible connection with the pet food market. The aftertaste I experienced by eating this degradant meat stood with me for hours. It was so disgusting and inferior that decided to eat only fish from now on. I have eaten organic meat for a long time, but even before turning to organic food, I have never experienced this low grade of meat from anywhere. Again, I believe this is grounded for dogs. US Wellness meat has all the signs of using u201cRendering Processes for edible productsu201d which is a centrifugal separation of lard to then be injected into the meat to increase its volume (which was supposed to be used only for dogs and cats but unfortunately it is being used by unscrupulous meat sellers just as often). Even u2018cracklingsu2019 could have been used because there were countless bids of solid fat to which they call in their web page 75% lean and 85% lean . It was so disgusting that even my pets refused to eat their meat. Nevertheless, there are dishonest bloggers stating that they contacted Wellness Meat because they wanted to write a report about Wellness Meat. What they wanted was free meat and for that trading their integrity and misled the public, so that people can end up with a refrigerator filled with the most degusting meat and they donu2019t know what to do with it. Even though Wellness Meat claims to be organic, you wonu2019t see such statement on their packages or their web site. The title on their Web page is: U.S. Wellness Meats and then below one reads u201cthe Grass-Fed standardu201d never claiming that they are the standard or have any connection with such a standard, those are all insinuations that could have been cunningly crafted to protect this large corporation. I think what they are doing is criminal. To get a hipping cup of lard out of two burgers? And the taste? It makes you thrown up. So, you pay $9.50 a pound for a ground beef (they say it is beef) that not even your dog is willing to eat? The tale signs were too strong, and I pursued an investigation, finding out that there were countless pages, page after page, of paid goons praising the Wellness Meat, which is not even normal: it is a tale sign that it is a paid advertisement. Sure, they use captivating pictures of great meats, but that is not what youu2019re going to get. You want to become a vegetarian really quick, order U.S. Wellness Meat. I guarantee you that you will be so disgusted that nothing else can convince you to give up meat like they do.
