Complaint: I was recently disturbed by a couple of guys from Steakhouse Direct. They came to my door with a story that they had an order cancel could I help them out they could not return with the product. I told them I would at least take a look. From the moment they entered my home they were very pushy and at times down right rude. I told them I could not spend $500 without speaking to my husband who was at work. They informed me that I could make that descison that I do not call him to ask him to spend money at the grocery store and that he would surely eat it if I cooked it for him. I told them at least a dozen times that I did not want to do it with out discussing it with my spouse first. Finally I told them I had 200 left on EBT that i could use to try what could I get for that. Miracously the whole case of beef was 200. The product was said to be choice beef but frankly it was subpar at best. I called the very next day to cancel my order and still have recieved no refund or call back at that. This was over a month ago. I was informed by the sheriff that i had a three day cancellation window I was within that window. These guys have really messed me all up. I have had to get a new EBT card because When i went to the store the 9th they had charged 200 a second time and yet I did not get a second case of meat. If you see this company lock your doors and pretend to not be home.
