Complaint: Currently in the final year of a Computer Science Degree in Digital and Multimedia. I’ve experienced difficulty with Star Tech in diagnosing and repairing my computer in the past on another computer. I purchased a new custom built computer from Star Tech for a back up at the end of 2015 because I was unaware of an other computer stores locally. I started having problems with the audio and not booting up after a month. I took it back to them for repair being that it was still under warranty but when I got it back, the problems was not resolved but had worsen. Back to the store I went. This charade went on for 2 more visits with no end in sight. So I called them and discussed the problem for a solution. We agreed on replacing the motherboard and processor, yes at more cost. So when I took the computer in I was greeted by the owner who instructed me to just drop it off and don’t talk to anyone. Anyone who doesn’t question shoddy work is a fool! So after I got the computer back it had extra components added which I didn’t request and also operates worse than ever. So off I went to reputable computer repair company where it was repaired correctly the first time. Summary: Bryant, the owner, should avoid any business that requirestrouble-shooting and repair skills and get into a business where he is better skilled like “cleaning portable toilets””!”
