Vacant property sales

My Complaint: If it smells scammy, looks scammy, and involves credit card payments up front under pressure – it must be a scam. John Murphy calls, says he has a real estate developer that wants to purchase my 2 acres of vacant land for several times what I thought it was worth. Buyer is to pay all commissions, brokerage fees, etc- all I have to do is pay costs of merchandising/marketing. He needs a credit card number for the payment to proceed. I told him it didn’t sound legit, that I needed ‘proof’ before giving him my credit card.

My Demand: None
