My husband and I went to rooms to go to purchase living room furniture on May30th,2011. We financed a nice living room set. Some of the order was to be delivered on June 24 and and the rest on July15th. We put $320.00 cash as a down payment. 3 days later we had to cancel the order. We were told that there would be a 20% restocking fee and the rest would be in store credit. When I asked why I was pushed around to talk to 3 different employees which none of the could answer my questions. So I went home and called the corporate office and they gave me the run around also. Finally a guy name Danny got on the phone and argued with me. He would not let me talk to his supervisor. All we wanted to know was why were being charged 20% restocking fee when it never left the warehouse and why they won”t give us back a check or cash. I was told to go back to roomstogo and speak to a different manager the following day. All we want is our 320.00 dollars back! Not store credit. We afraid to buy from them in the future due to we might get the same responce if something is wrong with the furniture.
