Complaint: I had posted an ad on Craislist early this evening. At 2:00am my time, I got a series of texts from a man claiming to be interested in the piece of jewlery I was selling. He offered my asking price plus 100 dollars for an overnight shipping cost totaling 850.00. Then he proceded to tell me to send him my email I used for my PayPal account. After doing so, I recieved an email. It went straight to my spam which is odd because all my other PayPal emails do not. Upon further inspection the email was not a paypal email. And although the email looked fine, it was clearly fraudlent. So before wasting any time and energy to sent this guy my $1200 and getting completely screwed I backed out of the deal. If you get anything similar to this situation from a man named Richard Ben, I suggest you deny his requests; it is clear he is a scammer. I also found other complaints regarding this same man and similar situations and tactics. Very sad that people like this exist in the world. Trust no one!
