It’s not my thing, visiting 3-star hotels because of the services they offer. But this time as I had to leave on urgent basis for San Francisco and there were not enough slots available in the hotels so I had to choose White Swan Inn. The experience I had at White Swan Inn was very bad and I want to tell you don’t go there is an awful hotel with terrible services. The hotel claims to be the best in the town in terms of their customer services, their cleanliness, and their company policy but since my last visit over there I do not wish to stay there again. They have disappointed me whether it’s about room cleaning services, whether it’s about their food, whether it’s about valet parking. I was puzzled with the positive reviews online and don’t know who post them. Either they are their people or they have hired a marketing agency to control their reviews online. If you want to see the actual reviews of White Swan Inn online don’t look at the ones who have 5 stars but instead look at those who have 1 star because they are the genuine ones. I also think that the photos uploaded online of the rooms of the hotel are outdated because their rooms are tired and they look horrible and are not even near to what I saw online. Also, the room doesn’t have air conditioning; there is just a fan which circulates hot air throughout the room which makes it impossible for you to sleep on a warm night. The room had a bad smell which is not good for someone prone to allergies. The room cleaning services did not give any response to any of my complain and showed rude manner to me. The manager was also a rude person and showed unapologetic behavior to me, he seems to have less interested in my concerns and more in making their money. The food is awful and there is no doubt that everything in there is in bad condition, the food room is packed up with people and you probably have to share the table with other guests around there which is kind of awkward for me. The prices are also very expensive as compared to other hotels; the hotel is a kind of a nightmare for everyone who wishes to stay and will always face a bad experience. These types of 3 stars hotel are high in terms of their prices and low in terms of their services, seems like they are only keen to make their money without ensuring the health of the customers. They don’t care what their customers want and what they are asking about, all they will do is to show a bad attitude to you and will going to act like they are best, but in contrary, they are not.
