takeyourpet.com At Best, FINE PRINT ISSUE ONLY, at Worst (DON”T KNOW) at MIddle: DECEITFUL MONEY GRUBBING Colorado (It’s hard to tell) Internet!!. This advertised that you could select a $1.99, 24 hour choice of helping find hotels that are pet friendly. Another, or the other choice was $18.95 per year. On honesty and integrity: possibly, the statement about cancelling applied to that $1.99 also and not only the $18.95. It may have been worded in such a way as to make it sound like you didn’t need to cancel if you were selecting $1.99 but only if you were selecting the $18.95 full year. It’s also possible that it was worded in such a way that it was clear that if you bought the $1.99 you would have to cancel in order not to have the $18.95 charge applied. I am not going to waste my time going through the process of looking at how the website was worded. On laziness and not doing any work: possibly, this is simply someone or group that just set up an internet money collection business with some sort of ‘real’ service, and the someone or goup does not do any work. It seems that they don’t answer their phone and they apparently don’t answer emails. I wasn’t going to waste my time trying to phone or email them and wait for a reply. Also, when I had tried for about 10 to 20 minutes to find a phone number while at first being in the process of selecting the $1.99 charge, I had no luck. Further, it claims to be a website that finds pet friendly hotels and motels for people with pets. The first hotel I called to get a room was not pet friendly after all. This could be a function of websites simply not being updated very often – and this would not necessarily be a function that this “takeyourpet” group is any worse than the rest of the internet, America or other, but that simply only 25% or 50% or 90% of web statements on businesses are accurate in regard to price and other things. In any case, this website is not good for public trust, even if it is fine print, since the fine print must be extremely fine, if it is there at all. Yes, finally, if it is simply a matter of fine print, it would only take a person perhaps 7 to 17 minutes more to take a maginfying glass to his or her computer screen to make sure that he or she does not get scammed. I do not plan to ever use this group again. It is far too likely that it is a deceitful way to make you think you are paying $1.99 but you are actually charged $18.95.
