Shenzhen FineGreen Lighting/colwel.com Defective products and rude customer service Shenzhen Internet!!. We purchased goods from this factory. Being as they are in China, we had to pay for the goods 100% upfront. We were worried about the quality but Iris promised that the defect rate was less than 1%. She said they perform a piece by piece inspection on the goods before shipping, so we were happy to find such a high-quality factory. We received the goods and one of the boxes was crushed. The goods were just thrown into a shipping carton directly. There were no interior boxes to help protect the product. The goods were not even packed all the way to the top of the carton, so there were about 6 inches at the top that were just crushed. I knew I had to inspect every single piece before I was comfortable selling the product to my customers, so I took them out of the crushed box. At the verry bottom was a single piece of bubble-wrap with most of the bubbles already popped. I asked Iris to explain, and she said it was just their standard way of shipping. I went through the goods piece by piece, and it took me many hours to QC the product the factory promised would be okay. Close to 20% of the product was defective. Before there was a problem the factory workers spoke great English and responded within minutes to any question. I asked them about the promises they made before we placed the order, and they didn’t seem to understand… After we already paid and there was a problem, the factory stopped replying and were very rude. We had to pay to reship the items back to the factory. When they received the goods, they said they checked the items and there were no issues. I really think they did not want to refund our money or replace the products. I asked them to explain why we would return items to them if the goods were not defective. They tried to say that there were no problems and the goods are easy to fix. I asked them why they didn’t fix before they sent them to us and wasted our time. They finally agreed to replace the goods. I was hesitant, but asked them to send me photos first of the goods and the packaing, so I could make sure everything was okay before they sent the product. It was difficult to get any response or information from Iris. We asked them to provide tracking informatoin and photos of the goods. I was provided a tracking number, but the number did not work. I called the company to see what was going on, and they said the goods shipped, and I could expect them sometime the next day. I explained I needed the tracking number, so I could estimate what time the goods would arrive. I asked again for the photos, and Iris said I would get the goods, so why did I need the photo. I said that they promised to send me photos before they shipped, and kept promising that the photos were coming “later.” Iris then proceeded to hang up on me. I doubt the factory even cares. I will see what happends when I get the goods, but I still don’t even know if they were sent.
