Sedgwick FMLA Nationwide **Author of this Report is NOT CONFIRMED**!!. Sedgwick refuse to disburse my short-term disability check in a timely manner. My adjuster never returned any phone calls for one month. Every time I called I was unable to speak with the representative or the supervisor or the supervisor over his supervisor. I’ve been off work for 90 days and have only received two checks. I was told that since Chicago Public School teachers do not get paid over the summer that I would not receive any money over the summer. I was told that if I need an extension on my FMLA to fill out paperwork get a certification from my position and turn it back in. I did that a month ago and according to the system I have not been updated today is September 5th and it is the cutoff for my payroll. The adjuster has missed every payroll cutoff date since I became disabled on May 15th I was only paid 2 times before school ended. And now I’m unable to get in touch with the adjuster his supervisor or the supervisor to the supervisor. Once again the cutoff will not be made in a timely manner and I will not receive pay. I have not been paid for 2 months I am in great financial distress and I believe that it is unfair for Cedric to treat me this way since I made all of my payments for premium and have not missed any. How is it that I have not missed any of my premiums but they keep missing payments.
