My boyfriend ordered flowers from flower-canada.com, which promises worldwide delivery. A florist sent a message stating they didn’t know where I was, and wanted permission to contact me. He gave them the OK (they later said he didnt). They also deal with FTD.I took the delivery day (9 days later) off from work to wait for the flowers, but by 4:30pm I had my doubts they were coming. When my boyfriend contacted them via email, a florist from italflorist in Toronto called me. She was a witch. She blamed my boyfriend for not contacting them (and at an order price of $175 they should have contacted HIM to be sure of things), when he DID, and then blamed me for living in the country. She was extremely RUDE. I gave my work address, and she used the flower shop down the street, but told me “your order of 24 long-stemmed roses in a vase are not available at that shop in red, you have to pick something else”. I didnt KNOW what was coming to me…but she ruined that for me too. When I told her pink (after asking him) she didnt even listen, and told them to mix the colours available.My ears were glowing from frustration and anger.The flowers arrived at my work one day late. They are ugly. The colours are easter colours all clashing together, wilting already, and giant ugly clumps of babys breath shoved any old way. I am currently waiting on a response for my email complaining about the service, quality, and overall poor business skills.
