Thinking of hiring a physiotherapist? Surely do just stay away from Performance Therapeutics. They are just some liars who need the money and post false reviews about their perfection. Well, my “perfect experience” is among the ones I cannot forget. After the experience, I have decided NEVER to go there again. I would not even recommend them if they are the last ones on this planet. They suck at these services and trust me if you really want to waste time and money only then go to Performance Therapeutics. They are located in Weslaco, Texas and started operation in 2003. I made a huge mistake of going to Performance Therapeutics for physiotherapy and not just me I took my mother with me too. We both had an appointment for the same day and time but the consultant was different.
I am a gym freak like I literally spend hours at the gym working out and helping my friends too. My back had severe pain for the last two days as a result of weight lifting and the worst part is I could not go to the gym. To make sure I do not miss the gym for a long time, I decided to go to Performance Therapeutics for physiotherapy. The environment seemed very calm and comforting so it gave me confidence that they will do the job at their best. But who knew those bastards were going to make my problem even worse than one could think of. The therapist was such an unskilled person that he did not even know how to treat a person with a back injury because of weights. He gave me the worst massage ever. All my back muscles hurt even more and every exercise that he asked me to do never eased my pain even for a second. A lot of rough exercises were prescribed to me there and at least I know you do not have to be hard on yourself if you have countered any such injuries. None of the ‘actual professional therapists’ recommend those exercises.
It is not just me but a lot of reviews about such foolishness have been on the internet. Please go through a proper research process before choosing anyone. Never choose clinics that have negative reviews. Even one in ten might be unacceptable but places like Performance Therapeutics have a million negative reviews that can help you. DO NOT CHOOSE THEM. They will make money from you.
My mother had the worst experience too. Like she should have been given a therapy without rigorous exercise because of her age and other health problems but no, Performance Therapeutics has no concerns regarding health or the medical history of the patient. None of the consultants asked her about her medical history. You should always ask your patients but we had to give it on our own because the therapist was quite tough. My mom had some problem with her right leg and the therapy has made her immobile for the next couple of days. We both are now consulting a GOOD therapist finally.
