I was a long time Hautelook customer but my recent experience with them has convinced me to never ever shop with them again. I purchased 4 items from a sale and 2 weeks later received an email that I was not going to be getting 3 out of the 4. When I called, they could only apologize and pass me on to yet another supervisor. I even left a message for the head of customer service, Chris, who never bothered to call me back. The deals are not worth the irritation. Their parent company Nordstrom should teach them about the importance and priceless effect good customer service has on a business. Ok – so an update to this situation is that after another call and some phone tag Chris got in touch with me and has come up with a resolution to the situation, which I am waiting for. I am hopeful and did get the apology I was looking for, which I respect. I hope that the management at the site will realize that if they give their customer service representatives more training and authority, they will have a lot less frustrated customers! I will change my rating once this is resolved.
