Conn’s Home Plus
I walked into Conns on November 1, 2018 with a 10% off discount voucher and already had a range picked out from internet shopping. It took quite a while to even get an associate to help me. My credit clearly showed I was good for $3, 600—my range was $999 but on sale for $699 and I still had to make a 10% deposit on my range. I stated clearly MANY, MANY times I could take it home myself but they insisted on delivery. I made it clear that delivery had to be after 4 PM because my wife and I both worked. Delivery couldn”t happen until Monday. I got a call Sunday night telling me it would be delivered between lunch and 3 PM. Not acceptable. I called and cancelled delivery. Went to store to get my range and NOBODY could give me my pickup slip because their 1995 MS DOS system was locked. This is Monday at lunch now. I get home that evening and the payment book was in my mail box but I had no appliance. I went back to Conn at lunch on Tuesday and demanded to talk to the manager. The Managers were in a meeting. FINALLY a sales rep came to me and asked what was going on. I explained in detail. He went to his desk, pushed a few buttons and gave me my Warehouse Pickup Slip. I will NEVER buy from Conns again.
