A few months ago, I bought a new car. It had always been on my wishlist and it felt so fulfilling after buying. Checking things off the wishlist had never felt so fulfilling before. I cannot explain the adrenaline surge I felt when I drove it for the first time. It had only been a few weeks when something terrible happened. My brother had a car accident. Although he did not hurt that much, the car’s condition was awful. There was a huge dent in the bonnet. The paint was scratched and not a single window survived. It was horrible seeing the car in that condition as it had not been long since I bought it with my hard-earned money.
I got it repaired by a mechanic as the company’s cost of repairs was too much. I got the dents fixed. I got the car resprayed in a different colour. The car looked beautiful and only one thing was left to be done – The Windows. I decided to get the best windows available in the market as it is one of the most important features of the car for me. I didn’t want to compromise on the safety in any way and thus was willing to spend money on the windows.
I started looking for glass replacement companies. It took me some time to find some reputed companies. Among the list, there was ‘Charleston Auto Glass’. After reading their achievements and reviews online on their website, I decided to go for it. I called them and inquired about the services they provide. After having a vague conversation on the phone, I decided to go there and talk directly with the servicemen. The next day, I went down to the shop and talked to the manager. He did not seem to be much of a conversationalist as all he did was look up at the sky and listen to me. After listening to me, he told me about the types of glasses and especially about the pricings.
The guy showed me all the different glasses and shit. He told me to come after three days. When I went there after three days, I had to come back home empty-handed as the work was not done yet. I was disappointed but all I could do was wait.
After almost a week, I got a call and I was told to come and take my car away as the work had been done. When I went there, I saw my car and to be honest, I had never felt more disappointed ever before in life. The newly painted car was again scratched in different places. The leather of the front seat was torn. The windows? The fragile quality of glass had evident scratches on them. I was charged an expensive amount for such poor service and when I furiously asked for an explanation, they just told me that I have unrealistic standards.
I would never recommend this place to any living creature ever as all the people there care about is making money without providing a good service.
