I took my 2016 chrysler 300 to John McNight for hail damage. He provided an estimate and scope of work on damages to my insurance company. He had me sign a document allowing him to speak on my behalf to Liberty Mutual. My insurance company provided him with a check for $10,109.00 to replace some aspects of the car and to repair others. The car was dropped off on 3/26/17 amd was promised to be completed 30 days from that date. We were contacted on 3 differant occasions saying the car was complete and to pick it up. Each time Mr. McNight would call and say it really was not complete and he needed more time. | On the third occasion we went anyway to pick up the vehicle only to discover that none of the repairs had even been started. We took the car with us and drew up an intent to repair document before returning the car at Mr. McNights request. He said he needed two more weeks to finish the car and gave us a pick up date on 6/4/2017. When we arrived the car was still incomplete and had new damage to it. Mr. McNight would not answer the door and finally had his wife come to the door who threatened us with a gun. We then called the Houston police department who allowed us to take our car and informed us the buisness was being operated illegally since it was a residential neighborhood and was being used as a buisness. We would like our insurance money refunded in full.
