I ordered a Shark Air Swimmer from Hobbies Discount as advertised on Facebook for $39.95 and free shipping. I received an order confirmation but showing an additional item and shipping which almost doubled the cost of the order. I immediately emailed them. No response. I messaged them on FB. No response. I emailed and messaged them again. No response. I checked my cc statement online and it showed two transactions for Scorediscount.com. They had separated the erroneous order into two transactions. I then received an order confirmation email which stated it would be shipped in 2-3 weeks and to: “Please allow for this timeframe before emailing us back.” From their Facebook page, it appears I’m not the only one unhappy with them. One customer was still waiting for her order from October. Facebook is useless in this matter. I have contacted my cc company and reported fraud and they are on it. I have also contacted 7 On Your Side—a San Francisco TV station that helps with consumer complaints.
