Awful. Do not purchase this awful and pointless service unless you are enthusiastic about throwing money away or buying a pretend/nonexistent commodity. I paid a monthly premium for “protection”, but when something actually happened to my phone, I was advised I would have to pay another $100-200 to have the repair made. Now why is this ridiculous? Well, for starters I was lied to on the front end of the sale and told the $9.99 per month would cover any repairs necessary. Second, why would I pay a monthly premium to then pay a separate “copayment” that is the same amount of money I would pay for repairs WITHOUT purchasing insurance and throwing away a monthly $10. Picture some sleezy person in Vegas where the company is located who is racking in cash on a nonexistent commodity–they save their monthly $10 and then charge consumers the same rate we would pay for a market-rate repair? Who is getting rich off of this scam? Don’t waste your money or your time. Also, when I called I never got a call back and had to chase the manager who let me know the next day that calls are returned within 48 hours–a fun fact no one informed me about the day prior, but then again, I guess I would delay on calling a disgruntled consumer back on a pretend commodity too if I were in their place. The manager then compared phone insurance to car insurance which is an insulting comparison given that car insurance copays cover damage in the thousands range which is the point of a copay in the first place. But again, if I were a sleezy company, I’d want insulting, sleezy sales people to be my managers too. Again, do not waste your time or your money.
