My wife and I purchased two Ekornes chairs from the Furniture Super Store in Lisbon, Maine on 10/9/2017 knowing our chairs were special order and would take a couple months to come in. On 12/30 we were told the chairs were in. Only one came in and one was lost in shipment. On 1/26/18 the second chair came in. | Once we received “my chair” we found the chair would not swivel readily. My wife found the swivel ring did not turn and scratched our hardwood floors. Over 10-12 phone calls from receipt, and promises the chair would be satisfactory we received back my repaired chair on or about 3/1 – 3/2. I let the chair acclimate from the cold truck and that night it was marginally better. The next morning the chair was difficult to swivel. Several phone calls later culminated in bringing back the chair to meet with Ken (Mgr.?) and owner Mr. Abrams on 3/10/18. Our conversation with Mr. Abrams felt like he wanted us out of the store and he wanted nothing to do with us being satisfied nor was he committed to ensuring our satisfaction. | btw The delivery guys were awesome!
