My son Jake Pileggi received a bill from Express Toll for $508.00. He is a college student at CSU and has no money. I am a single mom struggling to get by so I am not able to help. | I called Express Toll three times and spoke with three different people. They were unwilling to help me at all. I was told his original toll was $112.00 which was the only time he used the toll road. I offered to pay the original toll but not all of the other fees totalling $508.00. This happened to me about three years ago. I received a bill for aproximately $400.00 and was appauled since I rarely if ever use the toll road. I called and at least the gentelman I spoke with was willing to come to an agreement for about $100.00. He then explained to me that Colorado is now imposting interstate tolls to help build car pool lanes and road work, etc. I was shocked. How is it that CDOT, Express Toll and the State of Colorado can allow this??? I am also aware that there is agroup of attorneys involved who send threatening letters. Express Toll is also threatening that if this not paid, he will not be able to register his car next year and the fees will continue to accrue. This needs to be addressed! I would be happy to be part of a class action law suit with others who have gone through this. | In the meantime, I need some help settling this debt for my son. I will pay the original toll and that’s it. That is what he owes them!!!!!
