I’m posting this to warn others who may be considering using Axis medical Extrusion for the medical tubing needs should you be developing a medical device or any application that requires customized medical grade tubing. This company has by far the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. The owner is Jesse Plumley but he will keep fact secret so he can deflect poor customer service or accounting blame. I’m developing a mouthpiece which requires customized tubing so I sent samples of the tubing I needed to Mr Plumley in November 2016. He charged me $400 just to get samples made and when the twenty sample pieces of 4″ tubing arrived 3 months later they were NOTHING like the samples tubes I had provided him with and he even sent them to the wrong address. Having put out $400 for the samples I had figured he would correct the error and dial in the correct tubing that I need but he simply said he couldn’t provide me with the tubing I need and wished me “good luck”…. I requested my $400 back so I could at least apply it towards a new extrusion services who is willing to work with a start up with a tight budget like mine. He told me that he would “return my $400 only because it’s such a little amount” but it “would take 4-6 weeks for accounting reasons” which is absolutely infuriating knowing that this excuse is not based on fact. So beware of Axis Medical Extrusion. Business must be really good to treat start ups like myself with such disdain. It’s experiences like this that make you think about giving up on the work we do do in product development. Although it is motivating me to think that I’ll soon be ordering thousands of dollars a month in extrusion services from other more qualified, ethical companies who are grateful to have my business.
