In May, 2017, my company sold some equipment to Joe Sanchez of Audiovisual Warriors in Las Vegas, NV. The value of this equipment came to about $4,500, and included wireless microphone equipment and accessories. Our accounting department attempted several times to get payment for this equipment, and ultimately, Joe stopped returning calls and became complately unreacable. | I made a last ditch effort in Augst, 2017 to contact Joe about the past due invoice via email, and warned him that the next step was to send the invoice to collections. | This response came back from someone at his office: | “I apologize for the delay in payment. Honestly, I was unaware that this unit was outstanding as we have never had any prior communication regarding it. I can send a $1,000 payment immediately and pay the balance in October. Please let me know the best way to make payment. Thank you, Amber” | Payment never came. | Subsequently, we sent this to collections, and they eventually gave up, telling us that he could not be reached.
