Crispin Alvarez told me my apartment was ready to move in. I arrived, completed the the lease and paid the move in fees. Crispin Alvarez didn’t have keys for the unit and wanted me to move in the next day. I told him if he couldn’t provide me with keys he could return my money. He provided keys 45 minutes later. I entered the apartment and there were several poorly repaired holes in the walls. The stove didn’t work and neither did the dryer. The dishwasher had murky water in it. The tub was dirty and the shower wall had a hole in it. The tile in the entry way was cracked and the garbage disposal didn’t work. I provided Crispin Alvarez with my walk through notes and he laughed and said it was a good thing I already signed the lease. At the end of my lease Crispin Alvarez tried to overcharge me for the repairs that the apartment needed. It wasn’t until I provided my walk through notes, photos, and video that the overcharges were removed. Crispin Alvarez has bad character and shouldn’t be employed or trusted by building owners or tenants.
