Complaint: RapidFax worked fine until they raised their price from $7.95/month to $9.99/month. When that happened I reevaluated whether I really needed a dedicated fax number anymore. I didn’t. Late one night I went to cancel the service and I sent a very simple e-mail to their customer service address with the subject CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION. I forgot about it until a month later when I saw the charge on my card again. Then I found the phone number and cancelled it over the phone. In speaking with that person I told them I wanted a rebate for that month that I thought they had already cancelled. That guy refused and just kept giving me reason why he could not do that. If I had to call in the first place why did no one respond to my e-mail? In a nutshell: DO NOT start doing business with these people because they make it too difficult to stop doing business with them.
