PRI Inc Glendale Arizona

Complaint: College assist sold my student loan originating from Wells Fargo bank to this company apparently in July 2016 . I’ve never even heard of this company or new anything about them until I received a wage garnishment via email for my human resources director at my place of employment. I was told over the phone that my student loans had come out of deferment and have been turned over to this collection agency. They had my PO Box on file which was an accurate address to get in touch with me. I have never received any documentation from this company. When I inquired as to how they got a wage garnishment without even notifying me that my student loan was in default ; I was told that my student loans are my responsibility . When I inquired as to how they notified me under federal regulation and wall of any activity on a student loan account they told me they don’t have to prove or provide any documentation . This company obtained a 15% wage garnishment per paycheck illegally without following due process and has affected my life to the point where I can no longer feed myself and my 15-year-old daughter. No documentation or paperwork has ever been given to me to show that they had never even attempted to contact me prior to getting away to garnishment .
