This company, owned by Dawne Bucks, is the worst thing that ever happened to our HOA. She is intelligent, nice looking and well dressed so she looks professional, but don’t let that fool you. If you let her into your HOA, you will end up wondering what truck ran over your association. When she started our reserves were $600,000+ and she said she would bring them up to an acceptable level…$1,000,000 or more. Less than 1 1/2 years later we are less than $500,000 and owe another $200,000. She said she would bring down our delinquencies. Turns out she and her brother own the collection company she recommended. Her job as property manager is to reduce delinquent accounts. As owner of the collection company she makes money on delinquent account. Conflict of interest? The contractor she recommended didn’t have a city license so never pulled permits on their jobs. One balcony they replaced leaked so badly the entire ceiling underneath fell in. Did they stand by their work as she promised. No! Instead she led the board into a lawsuit to make the homeowner pay the damages caused by the construction company. The HOA is paying an attorney a fortune in legal fees to fight something they have to pay anyway. And she loves to send hate mail to anyone who tries to tell the HOA members what she’s doing. BEWARE.
