PAPPA JOHNS PIZZA altoona Pennsylvania

Complaint: I just discovered a dirty not know little secret about the major pizza companies. You’ll love this folks. I ordered a large 5 topping pizza, got pizza and started eating a slice. I couldn’t taste any sauce on it so I slowly pulled back the cheese, the pie was lucky (in my opinion) to have 5 tablespoons of sause on it. If that wasn’t bad enough I found only a VERY SMALL amount of each topping on this. I email corp headquarters and they informed me that the store that I order this from would contact me, which they did. The manager (I guess) asked me what the problem was, in a very condensending snooty voice. I told her and you wouldn’t believe what she told me. I really think that she let it slip. I asked her why so little of EVERYTHING on this pie. Now here comes the slipping part, she said that the more toppings that you order the less amount of each that you get even though you are paying full price per a full amount of each topping. She stated that a large pizza gets 60 pieces of pepperoni if ordering just this one topping. If you order say two toppings you get only 30 pieces of pepperoni and the second topping is cut back also. Mind you now that you are paying full price for each topping but the more toppings that you order the less of each topping you get. So if you order 5 toppings you only get 1/5 of each one. The reason (sic) that she gave was that if they put on full amounts of each topping that they wouldn’t cook. Now we aren’t broiling a 3″ london broil along side a 5/16″” fish patty at the same time and one will burn to a crisp while the other is still being cooked. So people next time you go and go to the pizza shop and order more than one topping ask them to show you the pie nefore they put it in the oven. This is kindda’ like McDonalds giving you a full cup of ice and approx. 5 ozs. of soda for $1.89 and you ask them for no ice they give you a blank stare or won’t fill your cup all the way. I caught Dominos skimping along theses lines also
