Orange County Tax Collector

Fees charged on bill not received

My Complaint: After reviewing the first supplemental tax bill received from the Orange County Tax Assessor’s office, I noticed there was a late charge of $50.30 on it. This was the first notice received from their office yet with a due date of two weeks prior. Upon contacting the Orange County Tax Assessors Office I was informed that they allegedly mailed a previous notice. I have a spotless payment history with all creditors I have ever dealt with and do not appreciate the extremely curt responses I have received from this agency. I would never intentionally not pay an agency and am concerned with whom might be monitoring and regulating such an agency.

My Demand: Credit for erronious late fee

Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from Orange County Tax Collector. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
Because unlike Beware.org, other websites get paid to remove negative reviews and replace them with fake positive ones.
Orange County Tax Collector is rated 1 out of 5 based on the reviews submitted by our users and is marked as POOR.
