Complaint: I purchased one year’s membership of this site in March 2016. Today, a year later, I received an email from the company informing me they were taking u00a390 from my bank account to renew my subscription. No prior warning was given of this, and I find this unethical. When I spoke to a customer service billing representative (located in believe, in Israel), I was told he couldn’t help me with a refund and that someone would have to call me back in 3-4 days’ time. Why it takes that long, I have no idea. The company has also ignored all emails sent to them. Let this be a warning to anyone paying for a so-called one year membership. Use a credit card or PayPal and NOT a debit card. I’ve had to cancel mine as I can’t trust MyHeritage not to take more money from me without consent.
