Complaint: I contacted private internet access approximately 18 months ago and paid $39.95 for their services. I was never able for what ever reason to use the service. Their help was difficult to get and didn’t work. I told them to refund my payment. It didn’t happen. They then charged me again without notifying me. Then charged me again on 3-6-17. They emailed me of their intent to charge me a third time in seven days,which they did after four days. Probably because Ispent the previous four days trying to get access to my account to cancel. I was denied access because the site said my username was invalid. This was after resetting my password,which they wouldn’t accept. For four days I tried to get them to give me a new username to which they continually answered but always ignored my request.they would just say log in to your account, or Let us know how we can help you. In each email I was stating that I wanted to cancel my subscription. They finally gave me a new username after they charged $39.995 three days earlier than stated in their email notification. The new username was determined invalid by their website. So far they have charged me $119.85 for a service Ihave never been able to use and have been unable to get them to cancel. I was thinking it was a credit card payment. When I saw my third notice was from PayPal I cancelled the payment plan and am trying to reclaim the last charge.
