Complaint: I started working here while I waited for my current job to become permanent. I regret it. This place has an extremely high turnover rate, shuts down frequently, and low customer satisfaction for a reason. This is not a rant from a jaded employee, but a warning to the public. I left the job when my other position was secure, but I must tell you others with children and families to feed were discarded of like trash when the owner Mr. Roberson started pointing fingers at folks for his own leadership failings. I can liken this place to a dictatorship: if you question Mr. Roberson about the wage laws or any other legalities, you dissapear (from the schedule). The Owner Mr. Roberson is anti-social and short-tempered. He avoids conversation unless it includes confrontation. He is infamous for becoming enraged and firing all staff at the snap of a finger. Tips are horrible because there are so few customers, which is understandable because I’ve had to explain hour long+ waits for meals, roaches falling on people wihle eating, no toilet paper or soap in bathrooms frequently, bloody chicken, and unavailability of signature menu items. Not to mention the crappy clientel (those not lured by groupon deals) consists of your friendly neighborhood drug dealers and PCP addicts. If you want reliable employment, enjoable food, and a nice experience for your buck avoid this place. I stopped working there months ago and still have’nt been compensated.
