Complaint: After a week, I was told to get a Belkin router, $100. which didnt help. After spending hours on the phone with customer service people that spoke poor English, I said to cancel my service, as I was recieving none, for my money.They then told me, I was passed the dealine, and would have to pay a $400.00 termination fee!!! We have a remote rental. We had hughes net installed for $179.00, plus $50. for buried cable. We never recieved internet service. When I called initally, customer service said it could take twenty four hours. I called customer service a few days later, and was told to buy a good router. After spending $100. on a Belkin router, I still recieved no service. Once again I called custoer service, which is always routed to a foreign country, I was told they would give me one month free service. I was told, it may just be because we had quite a few blizzards and bad weather. After a month, weather was clear, and STILL no service , I called and demanded, they cancel my service. They did not. Again, I called, and demanded they cancel, and return my intial $179.00, because I recieved no service, and I was told I would have to pay a $400. termination fee!!!!! This company is fradulent, deceptive , and hired scam artists!!!
