Tech help claimed computer was hacked

My Complaint: I recently called this phone number incorrectly thinking it was AppleCare support. I Googled “Apple Support Phone” looking for the number and this was the first search result. The customer service rep said they could fix my problem by logging in remotely. They claimed to have tried and said the process failed because my computer was hacked by someone in Nigeria. They said the problem could be fixed in 1 hour if I pay a technician $350. This made me suspicious so I did not proceed.

My Demand: Stop this scam
