Complaint: Charles Calvin Hampton Fillingame is a slick talker. Promises a lot. Blows off requests for contracts. Comes across as going to do the work himself and assures you he can do whatever you want. Scrambles to find subcontractors. Doesn’t manage project. Doesn’t come up with deliverables as promised. But he will take your money and shaft you. His argument is because he is a CAT (creative analytic talent), his ideas are worth thousands and you don’t deserve a refund even though the agreement was for deliverables–something other than merely his verbal contribution. Beware: Hampton Fillingame is highly vindictive. Has a police record in DeKalb County, Georgia, for battery (unwanted physical contact–usually a beating or fight: georgia.arrests.org/Arrests/Hampton_Fillingame_7847911/). Makes promises easy, and whines about how terrible his life has been and that he hasn’t been able to deliver because of one crazy reason or another (his girlfriend had to go to the emergency room, he’s been sick–suspect he’s got a serious undiagnosed mental illness, his girlfiend dumped him and he’s been despondent, etc.). He will play on your sympathies to buy more time. When you tell him to deliver or refund the fees and your sympathy for his endless list of life’s traumatic events has been exhausted, he gets irate and threatening. BEWARE of con artists such as those epitomized by Hampton Fillingame.
