Complaint: This is the second time this company charged my 88 year old father. the first time was two years before my mom passed. They charged my parents credit card 19.95 for internet entertainment services. Basically some site that allows discounting for the fee. 1. My parents don’t own a computer 2. they have no idea what the internet is and 3. My mom had alzheimer’s I am not sure how they get the authorization. I imagine they call and ask questions to the people like my mom and dad who have no idea what they are asking for or under false pretense. They did it again to my father this year. for 9 months. I called the credit card company and blocked the charges. I called them and they were supposed to credit my dad. They said they woudl sened a letter. the letter rads that the reuest of your membership was processed and there will be no more charges. I have not received the new bill so I am not sure if they will try but then it said that the refund was not eligible even though I called the rep and she said they would refund him at least the 3 months. I am sending this letter back but they are frauds who prey on the elderly and sick. I don’t know how they get away with this but they should be ashamed. DO CALL your credit card company and make sure they are on the line when you call the FunSource company that way you ahve a witness to the fraud. which is wehat I did.
