Complaint: On February 18, 2014, I ordered an Epson XP-610 printer. A particularly attractive feature that enticed me to buy it was Epson’s statements about the printer’s ability to print pictures. My Epson printed pictures for six months, then it stopped. Epson email support advised me to call them. Epson did not offer a toll-free phone number for support. Nonetheless, though I live on the opposite side of the country from Epson support, I called three times at my expense. Each time, I was propmptly put on hold by a recording that said all support technicians were busy with other customers. I never did reach a human being. Personally, I cannot afford an Epson printer that does not print what I want it to print and I cannot afford Epson printer support. You might want to consider my experience if you are considering the purchase of a new printer.
