E Bay Dearborn Michigan

Complaint: Simplly put, as a seller on E Bay, I sold an item and when I proceeded to print the shipping label, the shipping costs were over double of what the buyer paid. Ex. shipping cost paid by buyer per E Bay shipping Calculator was $14.90. E bay shipping page charged $39.64. And this price is also reported in the e-bay shipping page as a 4% discount from other shipping vendors such as Pay Pal or Fed Ex, etc. Pay Pal charged only $10.17 to ship the exact same package given all thle same weight and dimensions of the package. So it is not only not 4% less, it’s over double. I phoned E-Bay and they saw what was happening and acknowledged that it needed to be fixed and they would fix it. They rightfully instructed me to ship using Pay Pal until it was fixed. I asked them to send an e-mail to my buyer who was justifily upset which did solve the upset with the buyer being asked for exobitent shipping fees. This report went to E-Bay around 10 PM. The next morning at 8:30 AM it was still not fixed. They did send the e mail to the buyer that handled the upset with the buyer. This same issue happened with another item I sold but I simply used pay pal to ship the item. I have screen shots and evidence with item numbers, etc. but these specifics are not being reported here per the Ripoff Scams rules.
