Digital Audio Labs Review

DAL Digital Audio Labs produced an audio card called CardDeluxe. Even though the card was very expensive, costing hundreds of dollars, I was drawn to purchase the card, because it is a single channel full duplex computer audio card that fits into a PCI slot and has only one driver. The full duplex was a plus. | Installation is a breeze. You pop in the card, load the driver and set the card as your default audio device and you’re ready to go; we’re talking less than 5 minutes. | However, as with all things, the card that I purchased had an early failure, so I contacted DAL only to find out that they no longer support the CardDeluxe. This is an extremely short life-span for an alleged professional piece of gear. | So I contacted DAL and requested a schematic so that I can have an Engineer repair the card. | DAL refused. | Some radio stations employ equipment that is decades old, but every piece of electronic equipment used at a radio station has a schematic that is easily attainable so station engineers can easily make repairs… except for DAL. | DAL has essentially pulled the rug out from under my feet and anyone else gullible enough to purchase a CardDeluxe. I purchased several cards from DAL and now that investment is no longer supported. | If you want longevity and support, you won’t find it with DAL’s CardDeluxe just excuses.
