Dick’s Pawn Superstore Hwy 501 Review

On 12/15/2016, my wife, decided to sell her gun, a Ruger 380, which she brought in 2014, for $ 395.OO, also paying for a lazer, that was put on gun $125.00. Total was, $ 520.00 dollars. Gun was never used. Still in the box. She wantedd to sell it, because she never used it, to buy some presents for her grand children. | She called Dicks, and they checked it out, and told her, that they would pay her $250.00 for her gun, and that she should come down right away, which we did. It was my wife decision, and I felt I should not interfare, but stand by when the transaction, took place. | When we arrived, a sales person grabbed the gun, took it out of the box, and out of the bag in the box, and gave it to another person, to check it out. After doing so, he told my wife, that the best he could buy it for was for $ 250.00 cash, but she would first have to fill out some paper work. | Having thought the transaction was made, I went to look in the gun department, and left her with the sales person. In that time, the sales person, called over the manager Aaron, who then told her that her gun was two years old, and was considered to be used, and therefore her gun, was worth no more then $ 130.00., because he could buy the same gun new for $200.00, and she could take it or leave it. | Needing the money, she sold the gun to him. After finding out, I explained to the sales person, the gun was never used, and the lazer was new. He told me as well, that he could buy the same gun new, with a lazer for $250.00, and because it was used, he would pay half of what the gun was worth. I told him he was crazy. Guns do not come with lazers. | I then went to the gun department, and spotted used 380’s, without a lazer, and they were selling the for $ 495.00, and ever showed him, but he said the sale was made, and ther was nothing we could do about it. I was not happy, because if I knew what he had said, to my wife, and offered her, I would of told her, it was a bad deal, and he was cheating her out of a new gun, with a lazer, that he could sell, for a big amount of money. | I then figured out what the half would be for her gun, and the lazer, which would of been $238.00 dollars, but he only paid her $ 13o.00 because her said it was considered a used gun, which means, not only did he give her les then half for her gun, but he also received, a new lazer, for no cost, that he could now actually get more then double the price for, which I am sure would give him, a very nice commision for taking advantage of my wife. | I buy all my guns at d**k’s, and I just bought a ued 22 Rugar with no sight, for over $400.00 dollars. A used 22 over a 380, and it cost more then a 380 ? I collect gun’s. I know about guns, and no way, is a used 22, sitting in a gun case, worth more then a 380, with a lazer, still in the box, He took advantage of my wife, and that to me is bad bussiness, done dishonestly, and therefore, I can no longer trust Dicks, with doing an honest bussiness. | Lets just say, he could buy that gun for $250.00, then why was I charged $395.00 back in 2014, and why did I have to buy a lazer for $125.00, if he could of got the same gun with a lazer for $ 250.00 ? I believe in making a profit, but not ripping people off. Again, I believe Dicks, took advantage of not only my wife, but myself as well back in 2014. ” Beware people .”
