I went to Durand Motorsport before Christmas to buy a car starter. I stated it was for a manual transmission. I booked to have it installed Jan 2. Drove 40 minutes to the place for my appointment and turns out the guy sold me the wrong one. He had sold me a car starter for an automatic transmission. I explained then when I purchased the car starter I said it was for manual transmission. The guy argued with me for roughly 5 minutes and stated that I had to pay more money to get the manual. I denied paying more money as it is not my fault the guy sold me the wrong one. I then insisted getting a refund. Well they couldn’t give me a refund tray morning but told me to come back in the afternoon. I refused to come back as I wasn’t driving 80 minutes in total again. They then said they would mail me a cheque. Well I have called numerous times now and not a single person even took down my name or anything. Still have not received my refund. I called today and asked to speak to the manager, the guy on the phone was pretty rude. Told me I would have to speak to the owner, however, that the owner was away for 10 days. I then asked if there was someone else I could talk to and the guy said no. I am not waiting another 10 days to get my money!! It’s already been a month.
