Complaint: 1) ‘Inherited’ Dell Studio 1735 laptop when step sister ‘busted’ on multiple felony charges (heroin) 2) Changes to BIOS ‘locked out’ by password that I didn’t know/sis didn’t remember & called DEll ‘Support’ 3) First rep said he’d call me right back about ‘work around’ – NEVER CALLED BACK 4) Recalled Dell – next rep said ‘since out of warranty have to transfer you back to dept I was still awiting call from 5) IMHO no way to run a business/treat a customer AND WORSE they wanted to charge me ! 6) All I needed was to know if pulling battery (mbd) would work or if I had to ‘hack’ a chip. I’m almost 70, retired, patient etc. and they drove me nuts – IMHO DO NOT BUY DELL – product and support are WAY below industry standards (I build custom servers/PC’s etc. so KNOW ‘below’ is being nice to DELL) Dr Bob Knoxville, Tennessee
