I was looking to get an estimate for a cloud based Sharepoint 2013 server so i called Amazon and the sales rep sent me a link to this site | “” while we were on the phone. he walked me through creating an estimate for the server we are looking to purchase for a possible internal company project next year. i did not know as it was not shown or told to me that this site was actually the site where you create the server you want to purchase, and make that purchase. what happened was while i was looking over the total configuration making sure the hardware and software configuration was going to work in our projected senario i accidently hit the enter key on my keyboard and that took the estimate and turned it into a full charge. since we currently have an Amazon account with a VISA credit card on file and are paying monthly charges for another server, it automatically charged that card for the full year of hosting this estimated server which was $10,999.00. I immeditatly tried to find a way to cancel the charge but there were no options as i would find out later there is a no refund policy on that site. so about an hour or so later, i deleted the entire Amazon account figuring they wouldn’t have anything to charge me with if there were no account, or account number to charge. well the charge when through anyways.
