BUYER BEWARE! I strongly caution any business owner or individual looking to contract this business. | I worked with Dannah in corporate marketing for a little less than a year. While I do not have experience with her Access Bars service, I was able to observe in great detail her marketing and leadership skills first hand. | Lacks Knowledge & Experience | First, I was extremely disappointed by her lack of basic, foundational knowledge of standard marketing practices, market research and analysis and ability to conceive and plan basic marketing campaigns. Danna adopted and repurposed a marketing manual developed by a set of franchise owners with a strong MBA Marketing background and pitched the work as her own. | She also heavily relied on outside vendors and subordinates to create plans, campaigns, collateral, and conduct research for which she took credit. I also witnessed Danna take credit for media placement and coverage when this work had actually been handled by an outside PR professional. While excellent at delegating and demanding work of others, there was little evidence of her own work product or ability to create strategy and drive revenue growth and integrate departments to improve efficiency. | Misrepresents Experience and Skill Set | While working together, Danna was tasked with creating a marketing plan and leading multi-channel campaigns to launch and promote new media products. I was floored at the “marketing plan” she proposed to the team, which lacked any foundation in research, analysis, a detailed outline of various channels and proposed benchmarks, much less any processes or tools to evaluate efficacy and measure success. In a one on one meeting with Danna, I asked if she had consulted with operations to discuss logistics and timeline. She answered, “no, I’ve never done this before. We will just have to wing it.” In the end I partnered with colleagues in other departments, and together we drafted a successful and profitable campaign. It is unconscionable that Dannah has now listed this project and skill set as accomplishments on her LinkedIn profile and resume, considering she had NO HAND in creating, planning or executing this project. It calls into question the other skills and experience she lists on her resume and whether those are false and misleading as well. | My overall impression of Danna is that she is very inexperienced, cuts corners, does not share credit and heavily relies on charm and pitching “fluff”. Her experience in marketing lacks any history or record of true measurable success or leadership. She often misleads and inflates her experience and knowledge, which can easily be discerned by a potential client who asks tough questions and asks for metrics that back up any assertions of success. And take note that many of the positive reviews on this page are by individuals promoting their own business, which seems highly disingenuous and more like a mutual business promotion than a real review. | Do your research and be thorough, and don’t waste your precious marketing dollars on this fraud.
