Arrived in Tacoma WA on May 30th 6pm and paid for a month stay in half cash and half debit card at the Tacoma Crossland Economy Extended Stay hotel. Hotel was completely out of hotel standard (floors wet, room smelled of mold, neighbors warning us that the room we were occupying was the designated “party room”). We immediately repacked and left. The next day we come back to get a refund. They made us pay for the night which was acceptable to them, even though we didn’t even accept our room. They granted a refund for the cash amount in the form of a mailed check and recredited the debit card in the amount specified that was payed via the debit card. The debit card payment was returned but today is the end of the 17th of June and no check has been seen. We’ve went back on 2 separate occasions and they have only replied, “it’s not in our hands.”. They will not give information about who or where the check is/was handled and they refused to tell us anything of an expected date of arrival.
