Complaint: We have been Colordo Prime customers for several years and bought the freezer and other things. We have the ‘lifetime’ discount of 50%. About 18 months ago, we were called to schedule our order and explained that we had been traveling and weren’t ready. They said they would call back in 3 months. I explained that, no, that’s not what I wanted. What I wanted was to be able to call them back when I was ready and execute an order then (my original rep said that’s what would happen once we got ‘going’ and into a regular routine). They said Ok. About 30 days later, I got a call to schedule my order, again. I, once again, explained that no, I would call when I was ready. They then explained that their ‘systems’ couldn’t do that. So, I told them that I understood and therefore I wanted to be removed from the computer and to be left alone. The rep. then ‘magically’ incidated that, well, yes, they could actually do that after all. How amazing. Well, maybe it turns out they can’t. About 1 month later, I started to get at least 2 calls per day from Colorado Prime. That was almost a year ago and the only they have shown any competence in or consistence with is making at least 2 phone calls per day. Finally, today, I took a call. The rep. I talked to indicated we hadn’t placed an order in a long time and I explained why. She indicated this wasn’t the intent of the company and there had been all these management changes, etc.. and that she would like to have me come back. I told her that if she had a manager call me to talk about this and re-assure me, that I’d consider it. We set a time for the manager to call between 1:30 and 1:45 today (Saturday). At 1:47, a sales rep. called saying that she was calling to setup my next order. I asked if she was a manager. She indicated she wasn’t. I told her the situation of the morning. She indicated that ‘nothing had been written on that’… so I hung up. At 1:52, a manager called. She appologized profusely (as they always have) and indicated that the morning rep. had not indicated that manager was supposed to call. However, she indicated she was very interested in understanding what had happened. So, I went through it all again, except the part about re-considering. This time, I simply said that I wanted to be deleted from their database and never bothered again. She assured me they would do that. At 1:58, I got a call from a Colorado Prime sales representative to set up my next food order. Yep, you heard me right. I asked if she was kidding. She indicated she wasn’t. I told her to give me a manager to talk to. The manager got on the phone and, again, appologized profusely, assuring me it had been a mistake, wires had gotten crossed. Ya gotta love it. There is virtually no discernable competence in this company that I can find outside of dialing the phone and caring less about any customer. I look forward to spreading the word about the complete ineffectiveness, lack of professionalism, and harrassing nature of this crappy company. Jim Columbus, Ohio
