In Nov. 2016, I went to the realtor office of Eugenia Mancera and signed a contract with Sedrick Celestin for a six-month investment for the property located at 310 S. Breed, Los Angeles, CA. | The agreement was that I would pay $75 and get a fixed $25k at the end of six months. I can tell you as of today – June 22, 2018 I still have not received my money. At this point neither she nor Sedrick are answering my phone calls. | They had a contractor – Andres Martinez from Synergy Investment Partners, LLC undertake the project of flipping the house. | One of the last conversations, he said he would impose a $5k penalty (or pay me $5k less) because I was asking for my money (May 2017). | At one point, they were going to get another investor to buy out my contract. | That hasn’t worked either. Also, I found out through www.propertyshark.com that the house was SOLD in January for profit. | But they keep telling me they have problems evicting tenants, problems with the city permit and that there was 2 fires on the property so that’s why they can’t pay me my money. | Now that they are not answering my phone calls I’m concerened something more sinister has happened with my money.
