Claims to be from

Pretended to hire me as a mystery shopper. and was a scam

My Complaint: Was sent a cashier’s check of over $1,400 and was told this money would be used for purchases to select stores. I was to then shop for a specific amount and report to them before checking out. This was my first time, so at the end of my shopping, I then called back and at this time was asked to purchase a Green dot money pak card, and put $500.00 on it. Once this item was purchased, i was then told to call again to go voer the presentation of the store. When i called, a different person answered and said he was Nelly’s assistant. At which time I told him i was asked to call once the purchases were done. He then asked me for the numbers on the back of the money paik card, and i told him i wanted to speak to Nelly. He put me on hold and she never came on, so I hung up. 4 days later the cashier’s check was returned on my account.

My Demand: I just want people to be aware of this scam that is going out there. I did research to see if i could find something on them, no posts.
